Westmont had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Leland Chargers. The Warriors have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Chargers, too.

Westmont had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 19-25, 25-8, 25-17, 25-16.

Westmont's victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Leland, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Westmont will head out to challenge Christopher at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Christopher will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Westmont surely won't give up without a fight. As for Leland, they will venture away from home to face off against Del Mar at 7:00 p.m. on March 18th. The match will give Leland their first taste of in-conferenceaction this season.
