Baseball Recap: Taylor Comes Up Short

Taylor suffered their biggest loss since April 23rd on Saturday. They lost 8-2 to the Flat Rock Rams. The defeat continues a trend for the Griffins in their meetings with the Rams: they've now lost three in a row.

Taylor saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chauncey Adkins, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI. Lucas Doute also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Taylor's loss dropped their record down to 11-15. As for Flat Rock, the victory was the 14th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 20-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Taylor will challenge Trenton at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Flat Rock, they will host St. Mary Catholic Central at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
