Recap: Cleveland Storm vs. Cibola Cougars
The Cleveland Storm scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Cibola 61-7 at home. That 61-7 margin sets a new team best for Cleveland this season.
Among those leading the charge was Harris Mbueha, who rushed for 85 yards and three touchdowns on only seven carries. Mbueha was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 68 yards. Another player making a difference was Jordan Hatch, who threw for 150 yards and three touchdowns while completing 77.8% of his passes.
Cleveland's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB five times. Leading the way was Psalmon Kegler and his two sacks.
This is the second loss in a row for Cleveland and nudges their season record down to 6-3. Admittedly, the team was facing some tough opposition over that stretch, including 6-3 Cleveland and 6-3 Cleveland. As for Cibola, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-9.
Cleveland does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Cibola is also done with their season.
