Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Escanaba). They never let the Gladstone Braves get on the board and left with a 14-0 victory on Saturday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

The victory made it two in a row for Escanaba and bumps their season record up to 5-1. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 1 runs in those games. As for Gladstone, their loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 5-4.

Escanaba wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 4-0 defeat against Marquette on the 28th. Gladstone has also already played their next contest (against Calumet), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
