Trinity Academy had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They came out on top against the Hesston Swathers by a score of 2-0 on Thursday. The victory was nothing new for the Knights as they're now sitting on nine straight.

Trinity Academy never let Hesston on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-17.

Dominique Schellenger paced Trinity Academy's offense, picking up seven kills. Schellenger got some help from Grace Barrett and her 12 assists.

When it comes to explaining why Hesston lost, don't look at Callie Yoder. Despite the final result, she had 13 digs. Yoder has been hot recently, having posted 11 or more digs the last three times she's played.

Trinity Academy's win bumped their record up to 30-5. As for Hesston, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 26-14.

Trinity Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Silver Lake on the 30th. As for Hesston, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Ellsworth on the 30th.
