Volleyball Recap: Medway Comes Up Short

Medway was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Bellingham Blackhawks. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Blackhawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-13, 25-10.

Sophia Soto was nothing short of spectacular for Bellingham: she had 14 digs and 11 aces. Those 11 aces gave Soto a new career-high.

Medway's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Bellingham, they pushed their record up to 12-1 with the victory, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Medway wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Sutton on the 10th. As for Bellingham, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Winchester on the 10th.
