Volleyball Recap: Flint Hill Finds Home Court Redemption Against Virginia Academy

There's no place like home for Flint Hill, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They put the hurt on the Virginia Academy Patriots with a sharp 3-0 victory on Tuesday. That's more bragging rights for the Huskies, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-12, 25-19.

Hunter Ross paced Flint Hill's offense, picking up eight kills. Ross got some help from Ava Zender and her 20 assists. Ross was also solid from the service line: she led the team with eight aces.

Flint Hill now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Virginia Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.

Coming up, Flint Hill will face off against Georgetown Day at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Virginia Academy, they will host The Covenant at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Eagles will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Patriots surely won't give up without a fight.
