Soccer Recap: Hylton Starts off Right with Win over Gar-Field

Hylton had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. Their defense stepped up to hand the Gar-Field Red Wolves a 6-0 shutout on Monday. Hylton have beaten Gar-Field the last seven times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest Gar-Field has come to flipping the script.

Hylton hit Gar-Field with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Jaida Monroe (2), Ariana Rodriguez (2), Kayla Isaac, and Jackelyn Argueta-Lemus.

This is the second loss in a row for Gar-Field and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Hylton didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 4-0 loss against Freedom on the 27th. As for Gar-Field, they have also already played their next contest, an 8-0 defeat against Woodbridge on the 27th.
