Soccer Game Preview: Delta Charter vs. Grace Christian

The Delta Charter Storm will head out on the road to face off against the Grace Christian Warriors at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Monday just wasn't the day for Delta Charter's offense. They lost 8-0 to Glenmora on Monday. That's two games in a row now that the Storm have lost by exactly eight goals.

Meanwhile, Grace Christian had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 2 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They never let the Crusaders onto the board and left with a 4-0 win. The Warriors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five contests by four goals or more this season.

Grace Christian pushed their record up to 8-6-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three games. As for Delta Charter, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-7-2 record this season.

Delta Charter might still be hurting after the 4-1 defeat they got from Grace Christian in their previous matchup back in January of 2024. Can Delta Charter avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
