The Seton LaSalle Rebels scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They were the clear victor by a 94-74 margin over Expression Prep Academy. That 94-74 margin sets a new team best for Seton LaSalle this season.
Expression Prep Academy's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Christian Brown, who scored 20 points along with three steals. The matchup was Brown's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Jackson Childers was another key contributor, scoring 18 points along with nine rebounds and five blocks.
Seton LaSalle's win bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Expression Prep Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-5.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Seton LaSalle will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Winchester Thurston at 7:30 p.m. on January 16th. Expression Prep Academy's road trip will continue as they head out to face Ignite Athletics at 5:30 p.m. on January 6th.
