Basketball Game Preview: Columbia Capitals vs. Westminster Schools of Augusta Wildcats

Having just played yesterday, the Columbia Capitals will jump right back in to play the Westminster Schools of Augusta Wildcats at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. Columbia is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.

Columbia is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Andrew Jackson on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Columbia was outmatched by Andrew Jackson and fell 76-42. The Capitals were down 58-36 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Meanwhile, Westminster Schools of Augusta suffered their biggest loss since December 29, 2023 on Friday. They had to suffer through a 51-20 loss at the hands of Great Falls. The matchup marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Columbia's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Westminster Schools of Augusta, their loss dropped their record down to 6-2.
