Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran won the last time they faced Leo and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Cadets skirted past the Lions 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Cadets have posted since August 18th.

Despite the loss, Leo saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Marlowe Weaver had 22 digs and two aces. Those 22 digs set a new season-high mark for Weaver. Kendi Kiehl also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

With the win, Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-6. As for Leo, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-7 record this season.

Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Columbia City on the 4th. As for Leo, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Woodlan on the 9th.
