Basketball Recap: Nordheim Comes Up Short

Nordheim was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They were dealt a 66-32 defeat at the hands of the Jourdanton Indians/Squaws. While losing is never fun, the Pirates can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1545th, while the Indians/Squaws are ranked 619th).

Nordheim's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Jourdanton, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-2.

Nordheim has already played their next game, a 48-42 victory against Three Rivers on the 12th. As for Jourdanton, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 51-14 win against Danbury on the 13th.
