Summit Shasta waltzed into their match on Tuesday with eight straight wins... but they left with nine. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the University Prep Academy Golden Eagles. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Summit Shasta was: they took every set by at least 13 points. The final score came out to 25-9, 25-6, 25-12.

Summit Shasta's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ysabelle Galvez led the charge by getting five digs and two aces. Galvez is also crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 16 every time she's taken the court this season.

Summit Shasta's victory bumped their record up to 18-5. As for University Prep Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-12 record this season.
