Baseball Recap: Putnam Comes Up Short

Putnam lost against Wheeler back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Clippers lost 12-1 to the Lions. The Clippers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Putnam saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ceydian Campos, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

Putnam's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Wheeler, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Putnam will host Ledyard at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Clippers are facing the Colonels at the right time seeing as the Colonels are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Wheeler, they will face off against New London at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
