Softball Recap: Cascade's Win Ends 13-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Cascade took a ten-run defeat the last time they faced off against Waterville, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Kodiaks had just enough and edged out the Shockers 8-6. This was a revenge game for the Kodiaks: when they faced off against the Shockers back in March, they had to take a 16-6 loss.

Cascade's win ended a 13-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-11. As for Waterville, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-2.

Cascade will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Shockers: the pair will be back at it again later today.
