Baseball Recap: Conroe Tigers vs. The Woodlands Highlanders
Conroe had lost four straight at home, but on Thursday they dropped their record down to 16-7-1 to make it five. They fell 3-0 to The Woodlands Highlanders. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Highlanders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 1-0 on Tuesday.
As for The Woodlands, the victory was the 14th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 25-4-1. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.4 runs on average over those games.
