Basketball Recap: Raymond/South Bend Takes a Loss

On Saturday, the Raymond/South Bend Ravens came up short against the Hoquiam Grizzlies and fell 57-49.

Despite the loss, Raymond/South Bend still got an impressive performance from Chris Quintana, who almost dropped a double-double on 22 points and nine rebounds. Quintana's evening made it seven games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Carson Ridderbush, who posted nine points.

Raymond/South Bend's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Hoquiam, they moved to 4-6 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Raymond/South Bend didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 67-58 defeat against Onalaska on the 4th. As for Hoquiam, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Montesano at 6:45 p.m. on January 8th.
