Soccer Game Preview: Ida vs. Clinton

Ida is 2-8 against Clinton since May of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Bluestreaks will welcome the Redskins at 5:30 p.m. Ida's last four matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

On Monday, neither Ida nor Blissfield could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 0-0 draw.

Meanwhile, Clinton kept a clean sheet against Hillsdale on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 7-0 margin over the Colts. Clinton haven't had any issues with Hillsdale recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Ida's draw gives them a new season record of 1-3-2. As for Clinton, their victory bumped their record up to 3-4.

Ida got the 'W' in their previous matchup back in May of 2025 against Clinton by a conclusive 5-2 score. Will the Bluestreaks repeat their success, or do the Redskins have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
