Softball Recap: Potomac Falls Snaps Four-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Potomac Falls hadn't done well against Stone Bridge recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Panthers walked away with a 14-11 win over the Bulldogs. For the Panthers, this counts as revenge for the 13-3 victory the Bulldogs walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2024.

Bella Reuss was incredible, going 3-for-4 with six RBI, three runs, and three doubles. Those three runs gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Lyla Daugherty-Moysey, who got on base in four of her five plate appearances with three runs and one double.

Potomac Falls' win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-11. As for Stone Bridge, they are on a 14-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-13.

As of now, neither Potomac Falls nor the Bulldogs have any future games scheduled.
