Football Recap: Hudson Drake and Yarvon Evans Pace Mckinney Boyd Defense + How To Watch

McKinney Boyd might've scored the first points on Thursday, but it was Princeton who claimed the real prize. The Broncos fell 28-24 to the Panthers. The Broncos were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Panthers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in November of 2024.

Despite the defeat, McKinney Boyd saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Timothy Karsholt picked up 121 receiving yards and one score, and also rushed for 39 yards.

McKinney Boyd didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Hudson Drake and Yarvon Evans.

Dakota Lee was a one-man wrecking crew For Princeton. as he rushed for 161 yards and one touchdown, and also picked up 54 receiving yards. Those 161 rushing yards gave Lee a new career-high. Marcus Flowers was another key player, throwing for 188 yards and three TDs.

McKinney Boyd's loss was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Princeton, they moved to 6-4 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

As of now, neither McKinney Boyd nor the Panthers have any future games scheduled.
