Basketball Game Preview: Conrad Chargers vs. Wilmer-Hutchins Eagles

The Conrad Chargers are taking a road trip to square off against the Wilmer-Hutchins Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with ten consecutive losses for Conrad and six for Wilmer-Hutchins.

Conrad lost 53-31 to Pinkston on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Chargers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 987th, while the Vikings are ranked 461st).

Meanwhile, Wilmer-Hutchins played a tough match on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 78-46 loss at the hands of Lincoln. The Eagles were down 58-36 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Conrad's defeat dropped their record down to 10-17. As for Wilmer-Hutchins, their loss dropped their record down to 6-24.

Conrad came up short against Wilmer-Hutchins when the teams last played back in January, falling 71-67. Can Conrad avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
