Volleyball Recap: Ozark Catholic Academy Takes a Loss

Ozark Catholic Academy and Guy-Perkins squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Ozark Catholic Academy had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Thunderbirds by a score of 3-2. The Griffins were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Thunderbirds earlier this season, when they won 2-0.

This is the second loss in a row for Ozark Catholic Academy and nudges their season record down to 11-8. As for Guy-Perkins, their win bumped their record up to 17-8.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Ozark Catholic Academy will venture away from home to face off against Marshall at 12:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Guy-Perkins, they will head out on the road to square off against Piggott at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Mohawks will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something the Thunderbirds surely won't give up without a fight.
