Basketball Recap: Drayton/Valley-Edinburg Takes a Loss

Drayton/Valley-Edinburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a blow against Langdon/Edmore/Munich, falling 66-36. The Titans were not able to make up for their defeat to Langdon/Edmore/Munich from their previous meeting back in February of 2024.

Drayton/Valley-Edinburg's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Brooke Gullickson, who went 6 of 14 on her way to 15 points. Jaelyn Johnson was another key player, putting up six points and ten rebounds.

Drayton/Valley-Edinburg's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Langdon/Edmore/Munich, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.

Drayton/Valley-Edinburg will take on Park River/Fordville-Lankin at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Langdon/Edmore/Munich does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
