Basketball Recap: Logos' Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Saturday

Logos was the 66-61 winner over Prairie when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Logos Knights took a 45-36 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Prairie Pirates on Saturday. The Knights' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Despite the loss, Logos still got an impressive performance from Seamus Wilson, who posted 17 points and seven boards. Wilson is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last 16 games he's played. Another player making a difference was Baxter Covington, who scored six points and four steals.

Logos' defeat dropped their record down to 11-7. As for Prairie, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 8-6.

Logos didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 64-55 loss against Coeur d'Alene on the 4th. Prairie has also already played their next contest (against Orofino), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
