Basketball Game Preview: Armwood Hawks vs. Horizon Hawks

Armwood heads in on the heels of a playoff game on Saturday. They took a blow against Bloomingdale, falling 69-33. The Hawks have struggled against the Bulls recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Horizon waltzed into their match on Saturday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They claimed a resounding 78-11 victory over the Braves. The Hawks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 contests by 24 points or more this season.

Horizon's win came from a few key players Armwood will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Zoe Corjay, who went 6 for 10 on her way to 14 points. She is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as she's posted one of at least 45% in the last four games she's played. Sofia Duque was another key player, putting up nine points and five steals.

Horizon smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 31 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've posted since the start of last season.

Horizon's win bumped their record up to 17-8. As for Armwood, their loss dropped their record down to 17-6.
