Soccer Recap: Westville Takes a Loss

Westville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 5-2 to the La Lumiere Lakers. The match was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Westville couldn't quite close it out.

Lily Green and Ava Fenters scored both of Westville's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 23 goals.

Westville's defeat dropped their record down to 5-11. As for La Lumiere, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-6.

As of now, neither Westville nor the Lakers have any future games scheduled.
