Basketball Game Preview: Oak Park-River Forest Huskies vs. Curie Condors

The Oak Park-River Forest Huskies and the Curie Condors will round out the year against one another at at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Last Saturday, Oak Park-River Forest lost to Downers Grove North at home by a 48-31 margin. The Huskies have struggled against the Trojans recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Curie had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 24.8 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Bulldogs 67-65.

Curie's win bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Oak Park-River Forest, they now have a losing record at 3-4.

Oak Park-River Forest couldn't quite finish off Curie in their previous meeting back in December of 2017 and fell 42-39. Can Oak Park-River Forest avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
