Basketball Game Preview: Bella Vista Broncos vs. Antelope Titans

Bella Vista is 2-8 against Antelope since January of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Bella Vista Broncos will look to defend their home court against the Antelope Titans at 7:30 p.m.

Bella Vista is headed into the contest having just suffered their biggest loss since February 5th on Saturday. They came up short against Bear Creek, falling 74-52. While losing is never fun, the Broncos can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 741st, while the Bruins are ranked 318th).

Meanwhile, Antelope earned a 59-50 win over Carmel last Saturday.

Bella Vista better keep an eye on Zachery Caspillo. He was instrumental in Antelope's win, dropping a double-double on 26 points and 17 boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Andre Brooks, who posted 11 points.

Antelope has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season. As for Bella Vista, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-8.

Bella Vista came out on top in a nail-biter against Antelope in their previous matchup back in January, sneaking past 63-60. Will Bella Vista repeat their success, or does Antelope have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
