Baseball Recap: Bremen Takes a Loss

Bremen lost against Oak Forest back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Braves fell just short of the Bengals by a score of 3-2. The Braves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Aiden Gonzales was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over six innings pitched. Gonzales was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Bremen's defeat dropped their record down to 11-13. As for Oak Forest, their win was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 15-9-1.

While Bremen had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
