Football Recap: Paradise Piles Up the Points Against Willows

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Paradise). They claimed a resounding 41-0 victory over the Willows Honkers. The Bobcats haven't had any issues with the Honkers recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Evan Higgs was his usual excellent self, rushing for 191 yards and four touchdowns on only seven carries. He has become a key player for Paradise: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns, but 2-5 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Aaron Davis, who threw for 150 yards and three TDs while completing 80% of his passes.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Paradise was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 211 rushing yards. They are a perfect 3-0 when they've run for more than 200 yards.

Paradise's victory bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Willows, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-10.

As of now, neither Paradise nor the Honkers have any future games scheduled.
