Baseball Recap: Central Linn Comes Up Short

Central Linn lost to Santiam on Tuesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Cobras came up short against the Wolverines, falling 11-1. The Cobras have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Central Linn saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Elijah Jeffery, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Central Linn's loss dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Santiam, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-7.

Coming up, Central Linn will take on Crosshill Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cobras' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Eagles have averaged an impressive 11.3 runs per game this season. As for Santiam, they will face off against Regis at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
