Softball Recap: Haughton Takes a Loss

After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last five games, Haughton finally came back down to earth on Wednesday. They fell 5-0 to the Natchitoches Central Chiefs. The Buccaneers have struggled against the Chiefs recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Haughton's defeat dropped their record down to 14-13. As for Natchitoches Central, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-14 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Haughton will take on Airline at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Natchitoches Central, they will square off against Ouachita Parish at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
