Soccer Game Preview: Pinelands Regional vs. New Egypt

The Pinelands Regional Wildcats will head out to square off against the New Egypt Warriors on Tuesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Pinelands Regional managed to slip by The Pilgrim Academy the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Wildcats came up short against the Pioneers on Saturday, falling 7-1. While losing is never fun, Pinelands Regional can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey soccer rankings (they are ranked 305th, while The Pilgrim Academy are ranked 147th).

Meanwhile, New Egypt was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to Long Branch.

Pinelands Regional's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for New Egypt, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-7.
