Football Recap: Pueblo Find Success + How To Watch

Pueblo hadn't done well against Catalina Foothills recently (they were 0-6 in their previous six matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Warriors managed a 34-28 win over the Falcons. This was payback for the Warriors, who suffered a 23-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Among those leading the charge was Roman Otero, who rushed for 19 yards and two TDs, and also threw for 217 yards on 13 of 24 attempts. Those 217 passing yards gave him a new career-high.

The victory made it two in a row for Pueblo and bumps their season record up to 2-3. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 28 points in those games. As for Catalina Foothills, they dropped their record down to 2-3 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Pueblo and Catalina Foothills will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Warriors are set to take on their familiar foe Rincon/University at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Catalina Foothills will challenge rival Amphitheater at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
