Basketball Recap: Plumstead Christian Sets Scoring Season-High Against Valley Forge Military Academy

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Plumstead Christian). They secured a 62-58 W over the Valley Forge Military Academy Trojans on Friday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for Plumstead Christian as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Valley Forge Military Academy's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Evan Drabick, who posted 20 points. That was a full 34.5% of Valley Forge Military Academy's points, marking the third time in a row he's put up more than a third of the team's points. Jeremiah Deshazo was another key player, putting up 18 points.

Plumstead Christian's win bumped their record up to 4-8. As for Valley Forge Military Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-7.

Plumstead Christian will challenge Morrisville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Valley Forge Military Academy, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 64-31 defeat against Strath Haven on the 20th.
