R.J. Reynolds had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 14-run drubbing they dealt Carver on Wednesday. The Demons were the clear victors by an 18-4 margin over the Yellowjackets. The Demons not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since March 19th (when they won 30-11).
R.J. Reynolds got a massive performance out of Aalayah Kimbrough, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with four stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Ja'Miyah Sides-Conrad, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with seven stolen bases and four runs.
R.J. Reynolds' win bumped their record up to 3-17. As for Carver, they are on an 18-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.
Looking ahead, R.J. Reynolds will challenge South Davidson at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Demons' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Wildcats have averaged an impressive 10.5 runs per game this season. Carver does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
