Baseball Recap: Savio Makes It Six in a Row at Home

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Central Catholic, Savio was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They came out on top against the Antonian Prep Apaches by a score of 8-3. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 2-0 win back in March.

Savio's win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-9. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.5 runs over those games. As for Antonian Prep, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-15-1 record this season.

As of now, neither Savio nor Antonian Prep have any future games scheduled.
