Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Lumberton couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell just short of the Salado Eagles by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday. Lumberton's defeat signaled the end of their 18-game winning streak.

Their goal came courtesy of Bailey Alford, who's now up to nine this season.

Lumberton's loss dropped their record down to 20-4-1. As for Salado, the win was the 22nd in a row for them, bringing their record up to 27-3.
