Volleyball Recap: McFarland Takes a Loss

McFarland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wasco Tigers. The Cougars were not able to make up for their defeat to the Tigers from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

McFarland started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-20, 25-18, 25-10.

McFarland's loss dropped their record down to 1-18. As for Wasco, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-8.

McFarland didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 defeat against Chavez on the 10th. As for Wasco, they will take on Kennedy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
