Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Fulton). They put the hurt on the St. Charles Bulldogs with a sharp 12-2 win on Friday. The Pirates not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since May 21, 2024 (when they won 12-0).

Fulton's victory bumped their record up to 2-6. As for St. Charles, their defeat was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-7.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Fulton is set to take on their familiar foe Coleman at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, St. Charles will challenge rival Carson City-Crystal at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
