Chapel Hill came tearing into Saturday's contest with 13 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 35.9 points), and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Jordan Falcons as they made off with a 50-27 victory. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 18 matches by 21 points or more this season.

Ashton Beale had a dynamite game for Chapel Hill, dropping a double-double with 17 points and ten boards. That's the most points Beale has posted since back in December of 2023. Another player making a difference was Zoe Smith, who had 11 points and eight rebounds.

Chapel Hill's win was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 23-3. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 25.7 points over those games. As for Jordan, their defeat dropped their record down to 19-7.
