Baseball Recap: Muir Comes Up Short

Muir lost to Crescenta Valley on Tuesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Mustangs came up short against the Falcons, falling 12-1. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Muir saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Luca Cano, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double. Ezekiel Rodriguez was another, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one RBI.

Muir's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Crescenta Valley, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Muir will venture away from home to take on Arcadia at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Mustangs' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Apaches have averaged an impressive 9 runs per game this season. As for Crescenta Valley, they will head out to face off against Temple City at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
