Medford is a perfect 10-0 against Tomahawk since May of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Raiders will head out on the road to take on the Hatchets at 5:00 p.m. Medford has given up an average of 8.5 runs per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Last Monday, Medford came up short against Marshfield and fell 12-7. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Evan Czarnezki was cooking despite his team's loss, firing off two home runs and four RBI while going 2-for-4. Evan Wilkins was another key player, scoring a run and stealing two bases while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Tomahawk's offense. They lost 17-0 to Wausau West on Tuesday. The Hatchets' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it five in a row dating back to last season.

Tomahawk's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Medford, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

Medford was able to grind out a solid win over Tomahawk in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, winning 6-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Raiders since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
