Grand Blanc never let their opponents score on Friday. They blew past the Lapeer Lightning 51-0. The result was nothing new for the Bobcats, who have now won five matchups by 29  points or more  so far this season.
 Jake Morrow was  his usual excellent self, throwing for 166 yards and four  TDs on only 15 passes, while also rushing for 66 yards and one  score on only six carries. That's the most  rushing yards  he has posted since back in November of 2024. Another player making a difference was  Micah Kemp, who picked up 89 receiving yards and a pair of  touchdowns.
 They were just one part of a punishing run game: Grand Blanc was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 225  rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  rushed for at least 155  rushing yards in four consecutive  games.
 Another reason for the win was Grand Blanc's imposing  defense, which managed to get into the backfield for seven sacks.  Allen Frank was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up two himself. He is  on a roll when it comes to  sacks, as he's  now  posted  at least one in each of the last three games he's  played.
Grand Blanc pushed their record up to 6-0 with the  win, which was their fifth straight  at home dating back to last season. Those  home  victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 10.6 points on average over those games.  Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming  contests. Grand Blanc will venture away from home to  face off against Saginaw United  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. As for Lapeer, they will have a little extra prep time after the  loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Dow at 7:00  p.m.  on  the 17th.
