Volleyball Game Preview: Ridge View Blazers vs. Orangeburg-Wilkinson Bruins

After both having extra time off, the Ridge View Blazers and the Orangeburg-Wilkinson Bruins will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Orangeburg-Wilkinson took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Ridge View, who comes in off a win.

Ridge View had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Airport on Tuesday. The Blazers were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Eagles. The Blazers not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 2nd (when they won 3-0).

Meanwhile, Orangeburg-Wilkinson lost 3-0 to Wilson on Monday. The shutout was out of character for the Bruins seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in September.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-12, 25-11.

Ridge View is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. As for Orangeburg-Wilkinson, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.
