Basketball Recap: Proctor Comes Up Short

Proctor was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Leland & Gray Rebels, falling 41-18. If the Phantoms were looking for revenge after losing 57-38 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Proctor's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Leland & Gray, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-7.

Proctor will challenge Arlington Memorial at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Arlington Memorial will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Proctor surely won't give up without a fight. Leland & Gray has already played their next contest (against Long Trail), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
