Basketball Game Preview: Woodsboro Eagles vs. Three Rivers Bulldogs

The Woodsboro Eagles will venture away from home to take on the Three Rivers Bulldogs at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Woodsboro has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Woodsboro will bounce into Friday's matchup after beating Refugio, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. Woodsboro snuck past Refugio with a 63-59 victory on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Three Rivers ended up a good deal behind Pettus on Tuesday and lost 49-30.

Woodsboro's win ended an eight-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 6-14. As for Three Rivers, they dropped their record down to 5-18 with the loss, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Woodsboro was able to grind out a solid victory over Three Rivers when the teams last played on January 7th, winning 57-44. The rematch might be a little tougher for Woodsboro since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
