Basketball Recap: Parry McCluer Takes a Loss

Parry McCluer played a tough matchup on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were beaten by the North Cross Raiders 76-48. The contest marked the Fighting Blues' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Parry McCluer's loss dropped their record down to 5-3. As for North Cross, their victory ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 8-2.

Parry McCluer will be playing in front of their home fans against Rockbridge County at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for North Cross, they will head out on the road to challenge New Covenant at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. New Covenant will roll in looking for their 11th straight win, something North Cross surely won't give up without a fight.
