Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Trumbull walked away with it. They skirted past the Hillhouse Academics 70-67. The Eagles' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

The victory (which was Trumbull's third in a row) raised their record to 7-6. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of three points across that stretch. As for Hillhouse, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 21-7.

Coming up, Trumbull will head out on the road to challenge East Hartford at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hillhouse does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
